THE RULEBOOK
The Topstep rules TradeStella watches for you.
The hard floor for your Topstep account. Cross it and the account is done, so this is the line TradeStella defends first.
Lose more than this in a single day and the Topstep account breaches, even if your overall drawdown is fine. TradeStella meters it live from your start-of-day base.
The gain you need to pass this Topstep phase. TradeStella shows how far you are and how much room to the loss line you have left to get there.
Your Topstep max-loss line trails your balance, but only recalculates on your end-of-day figure. Intraday spikes do not move it, so TradeStella tracks the line off your settled daily equity, exactly as Topstep does.
Topstep requires at least 2 days with a filled trade before you can pass or withdraw. TradeStella counts qualifying days for you so you never request a payout a day early.
Your single best day cannot make up more than 50% of total profit on this Topstep account. TradeStella tracks your best-day share live so one outsized session does not void a payout.
THE GUARD
How TradeStella guards your Topstep challenge.
- Live meters on your Topstep trailing (end of day) drawdown and daily loss, updated on every fill.
- A warning fires as you approach a limit, and the breaching order is flagged before it leaves the ticket, not after the account is gone.
- Consistency guard tracks your best-day share against the 50% cap, plus news-lockout guards so a scheduled event does not void a payout.
- Every fill auto-journals and tags itself, feeding analytics, Edge Health and trade replay so you can see exactly how you got to the line.
- An AI coach answers plain-language questions about your Topstep account, all over a read-only broker connection that can never place or close a trade for you.
QUESTIONS
Topstep on TradeStella, answered.
Does TradeStella support Topstep?
Yes. TradeStella ships native rule math for Topstep, including its trailing (end of day) drawdown, 4% max overall loss and 6% profit target. Connect an account read-only and the guardrails switch to Topstep automatically.
How does TradeStella track the Topstep drawdown?
Topstep uses a trailing (end of day) model. Your Topstep max-loss line trails your balance, but only recalculates on your end-of-day figure. Intraday spikes do not move it, so TradeStella tracks the line off your settled daily equity, exactly as Topstep does.
Will it warn me before I break the Topstep daily loss?
Yes. TradeStella meters your Topstep daily loss against the 2% cap in real time and warns you well before a fill would cross it, not in an email afterward.
Can I track multiple Topstep accounts?
Yes. Run several Topstep accounts side by side, plus accounts at other firms, each with its own rulebook loaded. TradeStella keeps a separate live guard on every one so nothing gets crossed.
